The Quiet Power of Enough

Today marks the 21st day of my free and easy life — a life no longer measured by reports, deadlines, or expectations from others. My time now belongs fully to me, and I am learning what that truly means.

Yesterday unfolded gently. I moved through simple, grounding tasks — housekeeping, reading, and watching YouTube movies. There was no rush, no pressure, just a steady rhythm of being. In the kitchen, I found quiet satisfaction in not wasting what I had. I cooked egg belanda with leftover tamarind, and prepared a pepper salad using the red, green, and yellow peppers along with cherry tomatoes. Nothing extravagant, yet deeply fulfilling. It reminded me that abundance is not always about having more — sometimes it is about using well what is already here.

I felt accomplished not because I did something big, but because I followed through on what I intended. That, in itself, felt like a quiet victory. This morning began with intention. I boiled barley, a small act of care for my body, hoping to ease the swelling in my foot. These small rituals are becoming anchors in my day — reminders that I can take care of myself, one step at a time.

There is still uncertainty. I do not know when or if passive income will arrive. That thought lingers at the edges of my mind, sometimes louder than I would like. But I am learning, through the words of Miracle Healing, to return to the present moment. To live here, not in imagined futures.

Today, I choose to trust — not blindly, but gently. I trust that something good will come, even if I cannot yet see its form. I hold that hope alongside my excitement for the Vietnam trip ahead, allowing both anticipation and surrender to coexist.

For now, this is enough:

A simple meal.
A cared-for body.
A quiet home. A present mind.

And perhaps, this “enough” is where true richness begins.
